Surgeons, anaesthetises and direct aftercare from surgery cannot be faulted, however once I started getting better, I was made to wait for care, some routine, left in bed all day until 10 at night when id asked to get out into a chair around lunchtime. Effectively you have to be well to be ill (surgery or otherwise) and the staff forget! As a patient you have to be on the ball, and mither, mither and mither some more you might just get the care and respect you desrve as per the Nhs constitution, which superseded CQC Nhs care Charter. Please note that all staff should act and care for patients correctly, don't ignore because they are needlly. Don't stay away because iour patient is strong. Unfortunately the actions of few is tarred to the rest of the nursing team who did care and respect perfectly,
