Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the consultant I seen today, but what an arrogant man he was. Even after I stated we seemed to get off on the wrong foot he still continued not to answer my questions. I asked my GP to refer me for advice for recurring tonsilitis, I've done my research and learned a tonsillectomy is a painful procedure with a long recovery for someone my age, as such I wanted advice as to what else I could do to prevent this nasty bacterial infection. He was very patronising, very slovenly in his body language and very dictorial. Eventually he advised he would refer me to his colleague for a third opinion, strange given the fact he never gave me an opinion other than to say my GP was asking for a tonsillectomy which she in fact advised me they wouldn't do. Certainly wasn't treat with respect, more like a second class citizen spoken to by a god! Waste of my time and NHS time, the nurse who was there never uttered a word !

I am truly sorry that your consultation with one of our ENT Consultants was not as pleasant and productive as it should have been. We do pride ourselves in the usual high standard of services we provide, however, on this occasion that was clearly not the case.
