"Dental referral"

About: The Royal London Hospital

I went to my NHS dentist 5 weeks ago. They told me I needed to be referred to the Dental Hospital at the Royal London urgently and that I should hear from the hospital in 3 - 4 weeks. At the end of the 4th week I telephoned my dentist to find out what was causing the delay. I was told my referral had been sent the day I went for my dental appointment. At the end of the 5th week, I went into the Royal London, where I asked to check if I was on the system. I was not, so I was told to call the Central Appointments. I was told by them that the dentist has not yet sent a referral. I have now called my dentist back, who have the first class postage showing that the referral letter was sent the day I had my appointment. This is an urgent matter. Yet the NHS pushes me from pillar to post blaming different appointments. No Help. Something really needs to be done.
