"Ambulance time to arrive very poor other services..."

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

Ambulance services was called at approx 15:00 hours on sunday afternoon 6April 2014. Callout was told I had dislocated shoulder with tingling in fingers/hand, Lying in the middle of rugby pitch which was wet and cold. Six calls later and 2 hours gone, I was told that the priority has gone to blue light. the ambulance arrived at 17:30 from here the service was good. I strongly believe that the time it took the ambulance to get to my location may have caused me further damage ( time will tell), however my main concern is another person may not have same character and this wait could cause casualties to go into shock. 1. Call centre is relying on the callers information who have little knowledge/experience or none at all. 2. Call centre did not listen to person on the phone, it was only when I was asked to speak, their realised I was very close or in state of shock. 3. No one said that you are low priority and should try to get to Hospital by other means if possible 4. I did not receive any first response the only medical care was when the ambulance arrived 2 and half hours later. Once at the Hospital the nurses and doctors where excellent
