"A&E visit.Severe weakness, dizziness and..."

About: Torbay Hospital

Yet another trip to A&E early Sat morning 5 April, by ambulance, called thro the wisdom of 111. A very quick appraisal by a very young doctor and back up team. I was transferred to a luxury bed in EAU4. I had chronic diarr problems, and was very weak. Drips were set up, and I was made comfortable. A superb consultant saw to me and explained all, and answered all my questions. So much care during the night, with abundant changes of bed linen, magnificent, fast team exhibited their skills. Sunday came, and the care continued led by the nurse and her HCA. I watched mesmorised. Thank you. Monday morning touched me gently, and took the pain away. The nurse and her HCA, so busy, had time for me, and. Finally, the professor appeared; I had seen him before for previous recent gall bladder removal. I must thank him again, and the whole team for their competence. Torbay hospital- I am a simple man- you have excelled. I commend you. George (Chris) Coates. Maths teacher.
