Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Imran Ghanghro. What a delightful Doctor; friendly, kind, compassionate, approachable and made everything easy to understand ( Imran -I think you cracked a joke but sadly I was to stressed to get it at the time – ‘satellite navigation’ - clever and quite funny now that I am relaxed! Please don't give up your day job though).
My 3 hour visit to The Benyon Centre was a very positive experience. I was greeted first by a Nurse called Liz who was very helpful and later met Nurses Jill and Michaela who all did their best to reduce my fear and anxiety ( I suspect this was not an easy task).
What a lovely department, filled with a team of very caring individuals. Everyone seemed very happy and, considering this is a busy department, staff seemed to be going out of their way to keep everyone informed, calm and comfortable, in fact everyone I saw yesterday was incredibly kind.
My thanks to everyone – you are all a credit to the trust.
