"The marvellous ambulance crews in Devizes recently"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

John Gray, Keith and Jason attended my Mother on the 3/3/14 when she had a stroke 2 weeks after breaking her leg, they were amazing with her, and took her to Salisbury Hospital.

Ian the paramedic attended my elderly neighbour in Ferguson Road, Devizes on 4/4/14 and again he and the ambulance crew were just fantastic in stablizing him and getting him to Swindon Hospital asap.

We live in the "Bermuda Triangle of healthcare" in Devizes, and from my own experience in the last 2 years of being taken to RUH Bath with severe allergy attacks, that the ambulance crews are REALLY saving lives in such a rural area, with no local hospital in Devizes anymore.

Hi Pullan

Thank you for taking the time to share your story - I hope your mother is recovering well.

It is always so rewarding to hear how our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to patients when they really need it.

In order to share your kind words with the staff involved in your mother's care, we will need a little more detail regarding the event in order to identify the staff involved. May I ask you to contact me, at your convenience, on either sara.coburn@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 261 552.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide us with feedback.

Sara
