"Endoscopy contact details"

About: Crosshouse Hospital

(as the patient),

I received an appointment for an endoscopy. the letter states you need to confirm the appointment but there is no contact number on the letter. Later it states that if you do not make contact it will be assumed you are going to attend.

This is confusing. I have not responded as there are no contact details.

About your letter and the missing information, all the letters are usually created from an electronic template and the top paragraph has the telephone number and the working hours that we can be contacted. The only thing we can think that has happened is that is you may have received different paperwork and it would be very helpful for us to know more about it to establish how it came about and where the letter was originally generated. This would help us to make sure the letters are all sent out with the same important information.
