They provide a good and professional service and the buildings and consultation areas are very pleasant. However, it is difficult to get an appointment and with mental health is it often urgent or fairly urgent to be seen. It is also difficult to get minor medication increases approved, even when you badly need an increased dose. My other issue is that Secretaries to Psychiatrists promise to sort things out and get someone to get back to you and you hear nothing more for weeks. This means someone with a mental health issue, or a relative, needs to repeatedly chase things up.
