"Not sure if anybody actually answers the phones!"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I've been transferred to QMC for an operation, I've had nothing to tell me what's happening. Many times now I've tried to contact ENT waiting list line and the clinic but no one answers or calls back to the messages left! I can't help but feel like just another number that doesn't matter. I need to find out some information for work purposes, however the lack of communication is making that very impossible! I'm beginning to wonder if they actually care, or if it's just another day at work. An example of this is I've been waiting 40 minutes now to ENT clinic, with no response. Whilst I can appreciate they may be busy, I have no other form of communicating with them, so would at least be nice if they responded when they had time, but they can't even do that.
