"no patient care"

I recently had to go in for surgery on ward 7, I had no say in my care I was originally told It could be the Friday. Or the weekend that I would get home. Surgery went well I never got to ser my surgeon as he was away by the time I was collected from recovery. Even though I had especially rung his secretary so I could meet him and have time for my questions before my opinion. Was this granted no ! This point only theatre staff were amazing. Maybe other's can learn from them. Once back on the ward immediately all I was told you can go home tomorrow depending on your night. Not how was I. My bed was next to the nurses station I heard every conversation about me and the other patients. I had a bad night of pain. The next day a registrar came and said I could go home if I felt better. I was needing relief every hour. The registrar wanted to change my painkillers to weaker ones. Yet the strong ones were not 100%helping. He wanted to give me ibuprofen. Which from liquid moral is a massive change and I had to point out I was asthmatic. It is on my record. They then chose another weaker painkiller this gave me heartburn. But guess what my notes hadn't been read again I have a hernia and had recently had a camera down on top of all my recent tests. Again my notes were not read. On the Friday I belie nearly every member of staff came up to me to say your going home. This upset me greatly I was ill. I explained to one nurse why and she said she would tell the others but oh within 5mins they got at me today. Then a memebr of staff was discussing patients behind my curtain. He bluntly said sharon is going home we can't give her anymore palliative care. Yet he knew I had been upset. After been made to wait one hour for relief . I asked him so when am I going home. He said just when your ready. I did point out what I heard him saying. He couldn't reply. I had a sister in the navy uniform on the Friday say this is sharon she can stay till she is better. Then at the end of my bed said but the old people are been sent to the heart ward as they can't get a bed. No respect for me I didn't choose to be poorly. Next I was told I was being moved.I was just getting to know the other patients. They kept me in ward 7 but a different bay in the bottom corner out of site. Through the night I got comments such as what do you want? When I buzzed for relief we . I also got told of the night staff you can have paracetamol. I pointed out I needed what was on my chart. She said I carry these in my pocket so I don't have to walk to get them. So again I was left with weak pain relief . Had I been given the correct ones I wouldn't need to Buzz. The same registrar came on Saturday morning saying I was going home. Ridiculous for the ill. I was left waiting every time I buzzed for relief. Staff didn't even speak past this point. I asked for anti sickness. He said this won't stop you going home. I raised this with him. I got no aftercare leaflet. Disgusting.
