"Torbay Hospital"

About: Torbay Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

ITU, Allerton ward

ITU Consultants should be MP's in my opinion, as they answer question without answering questions if you follow my meaning.

My hat comes off for the nurses, especially Maria who was looking after my partner. She took the time to talk to me when she could see I was clearly stressed.

Allerton Ward

Great when on a one to one basis, but get moved to a ward with others and it all goes pear shaped. 6 hours for a doctor to come when requested by the nurses, again no clear direction given (MP syndrome again). All I can say is, in my experience, don't get ill at the weekend or after 5pm as you wont get a doctor for love nor money while the nurses work so tirelessly.
