"Good care received whilst in Tameside hospital"

About: Tameside General Hospital

I had three procedures performed at the one stay on the women's health unit, all the staff from the Consultant, theatre staff and ward staff were friendly and reassuring. The ward was very clean and the domestic staff appeared hard working and friendly. The Consultant was attentive, reviewing my care three times each day. Prior to admission, out patient appointments were prompt and efficient and I was offered a choice of anaesthetic or epidural and talked through each option and supported when I had made my choice. I can't fault the care that I was given, and not once did I feel that I was not treated with dignity or made to feel that I was just one of many. I would recommend The women's health unit at Tameside Hospital to any one I know.

Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to ensure we are providing consistently good care.

We actively encourage patients and their families to provide true feedback in relation to their experience at Tameside Hospital Foundation Trust. Please be assured we will pass your comments to the women's health unit.

Kind regards

’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved? Please contact John Goodenough, Director of Nursing at
