"Visit to Gynaecology Dept as fast track referral"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

My ultra sound was booked for 9.50am and I went into the room at 9.40am as I had arrived early. This was performed by two very caring and professional ladies who gave me total respect and understanding. They allayed my fears immediately.

Waited for twenty minutes past my booked apt time for my consultation with a very professional senior nurse practitioner. She had to refer me to the Central Treatment Suite and I was given an appointment there and then for only six days later.

Seen 10 minutes before time at CTS the following week. Looked after my a lovely nurse called Angela (who had recently returned from maternity leave) mentioned this as I didn't know her surname. Angela was very professional, friendly and reassuring.

Then went into consulting room and saw Dr Chan, a lovely doctor who realised I was both nervous and ill at ease. My examination was conducted professionally and I was treated with excellent care by both Dr Chan and her three assistants. Thank you all for your wonderful care and well done UHNS.
