"Successful fitting of an IUD after previous attempt failed due to prolapse"

As advised by my local CASH practitioner I was offered a second opinion after the abandoned attempt to fit an IUD (a contraceptive choice which I really wanted to try after 25 years on the pill) and I was referred to a more experienced Doctor at Parkside Surgery.

The second lady was very efficient and inserted the device without a minutes bother. I was expecting some discomfort particularly as I was a little compromised by a prolapse following the birth of my second child. The procedure was absolutely painless and was carried out with care and efficiency.

I was very impressed and happy with the entire experience including the honesty of the first lady who felt unable to proceed to a successful fitting. An excellent recommendation for the Cleckheaton and Huddersfield surgeries all round.
