"breast screening appointment"

About: Norwich Community Hospital

+ The staff were polite and I was seen promptly. The waiting area was clean and pleasant (apart from the music). The person who carried out the scan was friendly and dealt with me sensitively and the procedure was clearly explained. (3/4/14) - The appointment letter did not have sufficient information: it did not say where on the hospital site the breast screening dept was, nor did it have information about car parking. (pay and display car park: free for 20 mins only, £1 per hour). Also, there was no information about whether it is OK to use of deodorants / antiperspirants before breast screening. Yet, according to Public Health England, " It has been shown that deodorants and anti-perspirants do have sufficient contrast to be visible on mammograms and can potentially be a source of artefacts"
