To all the Staff on James Mackenzie Ward: To my Consultant: Sir, I most humbly thank you for extending my life. To my Cleaning and Catering staff: I thank you for your diligent work in keeping infection away from the Ward and ensuring that I was well nourished and always with a smile.. But to my Nurses: I thank you all for the professionalism, dedication and expertise that you have displayed while caring for me.. I thank you for easing my pain and ignoring my rude outbursts.. I thank you for the unscheduled late night brews when I was immobile and unable to sleep.. The cheese and the crackers I thank you for tolerating my minor medical mutinies and for all the little chat’s we’ve shared.. I thank you for your near marksman like abilities to hit my reluctant little veins.. I now know why they call you people Angels, that’s truly what you are to me, I genuinely love each one of you..
