I crushed my thumb in a car door in June 2012 and needed urgent attention to deal with the matter. I must admit that the wait was long in total about 7 hours from start to finished, but my case was less urgent so I appreciate the wait and I was offered pain relief once I was triaged. The doctors and nurses were all lovely and very professional in dealing with my injury and nerves. I received excellent care and post op service.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your kind comments regarding your visit to to our hospitals following the injury you suffered to your thumb.

Regarding the delay in being seen, I am sorry that on this occasion this was not dealt with quickly and of the high standard we would expect at our Trust.
