What I liked

I have recently been seen by doctors/staff in A&E, Breast Clinic and X-ray departments of Lewisham hospital, and cannot fault the service provided by the doctors and staff in any of these departments. I have been treated courteously, professionally and promptly in all cases and feel that the hospital (as busy as it is) operates to a high standard.

What could be improved

The breast clinic waiting/consultation area is very grim - as someone else has noted - not a great place to have to sit & wait when you are anxious. On my last visit the appointments were running late so it became very crowded very quickly. The demeanour of the staff makes up for the lack of comfort, but it is such a busy clinic and could do with a bit more space and attention to surroundings.

Anything else?

I think people often have unrealistic expectations of what the NHS can deliver for patients (five star hotel treatment is not in the remit!), but i feel very happy with the way i have been treated at Lewisham Hospital.
