I'd never needed to go to a Walk In Centre before, so I didn't know what to expect. The receptionist was very helpful, she was able to explain the process clearly to me when I was feeling ill, so I wasn't very good at following instructions! I don't know if it was just a quiet morning but they were able to see me very quickly. The nurse I saw was really kind and professional, she had to ask me some difficult questions, so I was grateful for that. She was able to do tests on me quickly, and then give me a prescription and advice straight away. My only (small) complaint was paying for the parking. I wouldn't have minded the cost, but the ticket machine could only really take coins. Being ill as I was, I hadn't thought that far ahead, and I didn't have the right change. It would have helped if the ticket machine could take notes (without spitting them out) or a card.
