(as the patient),

I have an ongoing condition which left me in extreme pain and distress. I rang 999 and paramedics arrived within seven minutes. It was excellent. The paramedics helped enormously, phoning my GP to get an appointment for me.

The person who took my call was also very good.

There was nothing any of them could have done better.
