"A very frustrating experience"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS) The Princess Royal Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

To get an appointment to see someone in connection with glaucoma/eye pressures has been a very frustrating experience. I was offered by TRAQS a choice of two hospitals, either Shrewsbury or PRH. I chose PRH.

When I saw the doctor at the PRH, after a time-lag, I was refused treatment on the ground I had been seen by another eye surgeon previously.

As the waiting time for Shrewsbury was 12 weeks and I had already waited long enough, I contacted TRAQS who got me in with Euston House.

I am to attend this in March. When I mentioned this to my GP, she said they didn’t think Euston House offered the service I needed. However, I am glad an appointment at last has been made.

Dear 'Leaf537'

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding your referral.

As all feedback is anonymous, I would appreciate it if you could contact me at TRAQS so that I can investigate on how your referral was processed and if there was anything that TRAQS could have done differently.

However im pleased to note that you were offered an appointment in March.

Please contact me on 01952 580376 and I will be happy to look into your referral.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your comments.
