About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

The lady who dealt with my referral was fantastic, however the availability of neurology appointments was not great (3-4 months for my first choice hospital which is local) so I need to go to a hospital much further away.

Also the first choice appointment went whilst I was talking to the TRAQS team.

I am pleased to note that the team member who you spoke to left you with a favourable impression of our service.

Unfortunately waiting times for appointments at some hospitals are subject to lenghty delay, which is outside TRAQS control. TRAQS does endeavour to give patients choice of both time and location for their appointment but we are working with a live system and in a few cases an appointment slot can be filled whilst we are discussing your options. I am sorry that you will need to travel further away for your appointment, however, by taking this appointment your referral is not subject to any further delay.
