"Post-natal care"

About: New Forest Birth Centre Ha

I transferred here after 3 days in Princess Anne Hospital (Southampton) and stayed for just over 24 hours. My daughter and I needed help with breastfeeding before going home, and I'd been recovering from blood loss during delivery. The Princess Anne was great, but quite a hectic environment, and it was nothing short of fantastic to move to the birthing centre. The staff were all friendly, caring and gave us exactly the help we needed. The premises are spacious and the facilities very good. The food was home made or home cooked and the view of the forest and garden was lovely. The whole experience was just what we needed and we left feeling happy, calm, rested and ready to go home.
