"Surgery to stabalise Bimalleolar Ankle Fracture"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I was impressed by the care, attention and respect shown to me and other patients on my ward. The NHS gets a lot of bad publicity but my experience on the Orthopedic Trauma ward was first class. Staff at all levels were good natured, kind and left me feeling genuinely taken very good care of. Although they were sometimes very busy they always kept their cool, even when challenged by some difficult situations. Although I hope never to have an injury that returns me to that ward, I would have no anxieties if I needed to. Well done ward 18.

Dear Barbara, Thank you for your lovely review of Ward 18 at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Our hospitals are very busy, but as your experience shows, this does not stop our staff from going to extra mile to ensure you are well cared for :-) We have passed your comments onto the Orthopaedics service and staff on Ward 18, your kind words will mean a lot to them all. Wishing you all the best, Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
