"A nightmare place"

About: Homerton University Hospital

I was referred to the vertigo clinic for my balance problems and what a carry on, was told i has nasal polyps and was told i had to have them removed, then was was promptly discharged, it has taken me 2.5 years to finally get them removed, 4 specialists later! even after being told by 2 specialist that the 6 massive polyps have to be removed, 1 specialist even called me a liar and accused me of already having the surgery. At one appointment i was given tests, half way through another specialist came in and started doing the same tests, later i questioned the first specialist who admitted it wasn't even his department! 4 years later i still have balance problems, i have not been able to work and I'm desperate to get back to normal. On one occasion i had to go a&e, i was seen by a dr i could not understand, i was put in a ward and left for 12 hours, no food, no water, i asked for water and it was taken away after 5 min! i discharged myself after i realised i would not be seen for another day or two and i was hungry and thirsty. when i asked the specialist if my polyps needed removing i was told it was my decision and that patients always put that to the specialist! i also was seen about my arthritis, they lost my scans, it has taken nearly 2 years to get this resolved, when all i had to do was fill in a form and get them replaced! i only found that out after being sent to another hospital to get a scan done, the amount of money being wasted because of these type of incidences! is a joke, i just want to be treated and to be honestly informed about what is wrong with me, really unhelpful reception staff, i would like to praise this place but its every time i go there something else happens, there is a culture of not caring enough, is clearly about money here...
