"Fantastic Care in A&E"

About: Worcestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter tripped at school and suffered a deep cut to her eyelid. I brought her in recently and wanted to compliment Worcester royal on the fantastic care level she had.

She was seen within 10 minutes by the triage nurse and was being dealt with 10 minutes later.

The nurse Holly was great and put myself and my daughter at ease straight away. She was assisted by Megan with stitches and between them they made a real fuss of her telling her how brave she was etc and by the time we left she was feeling quite proud of her stitches.

These two nurses a real credit to the service especially in a time when the NHS comes under fire regularly and I thought you should be aware of how this example of making the patient feel at ease takes the stress out of a worrying situation.
