"Day Surgery ward (Ground floor)"

I recently attended for a further arthroscopy. The standard of care on the female ward was excellent all day and the Ward Sister oversaw the work of her staff in a competent yet unobtrusive way. I witnessed her support of a recently arrived student nurse, she took great pains to explain procedures to her and to include me (the patient) in this too. My pre and post op care was exemplary and I had great confidence in the staff team. When so many are quick to berate shortcomings in our NHS I believe that more could be done to praise where praise is due. My thanks to the Sister and her team for their care and professional team work.
