About: Cheltenham General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Being in a side room eventually

What could be improved

poor communication throughout the hospital. Dirty floors (black with grime) in one ward

Lack of respect for patients and patients relatives

failure to listen to patients requests

food is atrocious

Many thanks for your comments, however in order to look into them further we would require more information.

The Trust takes very seriously its responsibility to reduce and prevent infections and we would hope that any patient who sees something unacceptable on a ward would tell the staff at the time, in order that they have the opportunity to put it right.

In February this year the Trust was pleased to received a full and clean bill of health from the Care Quality Commission following a Hygiene inspection.

The Trust's catering team welcomes comments from patients. in April 2009 the catering team were awarded the top award by the Hospital Caterers Association.

If you would like to discuss your comments further, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0800 0193282.
