I have just returned from a short stay in Ward 10 and I cannot stress highly enough the superb care and attention I was given by all the staff there. I was truly overwhelmed with the way I was dealt with on the ward and also by the theatre staff.There was a 91 year old lady in the next bed to me and I saw first hand how she was handled with such care and dignity,it restored my faith in the NHS after all the negativity that is around at the moment. I would just like to say thank you to all concerned with a special mention to one nurse who was so kind and helpful. Kind regards Sue France

Dear Sue Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about your stay on Ward 10. It is great to hear that you had such a positive experience on the ward and also observed the care and dignity received by other patients. Now, you say that you would like to make a special mention of one nurse who was so kind and helpful, but unfortunately the NHS Choices website edits out individual names before comments are published online ... so if you did include a name then I regret that we can't see this. I would love to hear so that I can go to thank them in person, so you could possibly email this to communications@sath.nhs.uk? I write the comments we receive - good and bad - onto comment cards which are taken to the wards and departments by me and the other Directors.
