"Appointments problems"

About: Colchester General Hospital

Appointments problems? I received a letter from this hospital which requested that I call them to make an appointment to come in for treatment. When I called I just got an answering phone message requesting I leave a message concerning my inquiry and that they would call me back? Having now called them everyday for the last 5 days and never receiving any phone call or acknowledgment even though I have left my details several times nothing has been forthcoming? The whole thing is farcical I am now at the end of my tether Colchester general is a bloody wast of time and a shambles...

I apologise you’ve not had a good patient experience. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients, their relatives or carers. Depending on what the appointment is for, our Contact Centre (Appointments Office) can be phoned for advice during office hours on 01206 747576. More details on our website: http://www.colchesterhospital.nhs.uk/ql_cancel.shtml This also lists many other numbers depending what the appointment is for. Alternatively, email me with more details and I'll try and help. Many thanks Paul Searle, Head of Communications Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk
