About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Orthopaedics New Victoria Hospital / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

I have recently been diagnosed with hyper joint mobility and am starting my journey to work out what will work for me to treat pain etc. After a self referral to physiotherapy in Glasgow's New Victoria which saw my first appointment within a week, I was seen a couple of times but my joints didn't like what was being suggested. I was referred in to a back pain specialist who referred me for a back scan to make sure he wasn't missing anything. That was a week and a half ago. I received a call yesterday to say there had been a cancellation at the Golden Jubilee for today if I could make it. As a result, this will speed up my treatment to help me on the road to better mobility - I hope!

The speed of this progress on the NHS is great and the staff have all been so helpful and understanding given my complex problems.
