I was a patient in Clinic 3 at the Queen's Medical Centre for the treatment of ovarian cysts. I felt embarrassed, angry and upset after being referred to a hernia surgeon, despite being told 8 months ago that my complaint was not a hernia. I was told that my cysts would probably go away and that I should come back in 4 months time for another check-up.
However, I was later sent a letter of apology, so I was pleased about this.
