About: Leicester General Hospital

I was booked in for a csection on the 11th match 2014. The staff were great. Anaesthetists were excellent in making me relax as i was so frightened of the whole procedure. Afterwards on ward the midwives and other staff were so helpful no matter how many times i pressed the buzzer! After being discharged due to complications i was back in hospital this time kept on the labour ward. Once again fantastic staff were on hand to ease my anxiety and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Special mention of the Midwife on labour ward who was fantastic and a great support for me and made sure i was well looked after during my few days there. Thank you! The level of care i received was top class just dont understand why our NHS is slated so much but im extremely happy with the care given at maternity/labour ward at the General hospital.
