"Breast Check"

About: Hereford County Hospital

Approx a month ago I felt a breast lump & my husband also noticed. After two weeks I went to Asda walk in GP & asked if I could see a nurse. Just thought I would get a nurse to check it. After waiting some time a GP got me in & she checked my breast & found it straight away, she said I should not leave it two weeks and should come straight away. She ref me to Hereford County Hospital for a breast Check. On the 17th March I attended my appointmentst the Charles Renton Clinic, it was with a female consultant, I was made to feel I was wasting her time & told next time leave it a month before getting it checked. When I explained the GP felt it straight away I had a comment from her saying GP's no nothing!! This lady was very rude and should not be in her position. I worried for several weeks and was made to feel I never want to go back if I ever get another lump, that's a dangerous situation to be in and make people feel like. You would think it would be pleasing to give a lady the clear. Breast Cancer runs in my family so naturally I check & get worried if there is something.
