I have just returned from an emergency admission to the Renal ward (Edgefield ward). I was initially assessed in A and E.
From the moment I arrived to the time of my leaving the care and support was outstanding by everyone I met. The doctors (Tariq in A and E) and the staff in the wards and in A and E, all excellent. They did nothing but care for and support a difficult 36 hours with kidney stones.
Special mention for Chloe and Tina who both had that special touch of making your stay nearly a pleasure! These two were so good at the personal touches and jollying along in, at times, very difficult and stressful moments. They both deserve to go far.
If you are able to pass on my gratitude please feel able to do so. As a head teacher who suffers the slings and arrows of an outraged public at times I have nothing but admiration for the NHS. We are all indeed very lucky.
"Gratitude"
