My mother in law has been in Great Western Hospital for 28 hours since being taken there by ambulance and still has not been seen by a consultant. In addition:
1. My wife has had to clean a previous patients blood from the floor around the bed that has been there for at least 5 hours
2. My wife and sister had to get their mumonto a bed pan because there was no one else to do it
3.My wife just dressed another patient requiring help that was not being provided by staff
4. Aside from her undiagnosed problem the patient was dehydrated and was promised rehydration. 28 hours later - no action and my wife had to go a buy water and give it to her mum direct from the bottle.
