Dear Anonymous – thank you for taking the time and trouble to post your views of Southmead hospital in relation to your Nan’s care. Regrettably, I do not have enough information to identify your Nan, so I am unable to assist with the situation. However, if you remain concerned that you are not able to speak to your Nan when you next make contact with Severn Ward, please leave your name and number and ask for the ward sister or matron give you a call to update you. They will be happy to do this and, subject to data protection, will give you what information they can. I hope that your Nan makes a speedy recovery from her operation and that she is soon well enough to be discharged back to your families care. Kind Regards – Steve Sykes Advice and Complaints Team
