"Outstanding Care in A&E"

I attended the A&E department today. It was the first time I have been to South Tyneside Hospital and it was a good first impression - the care I received really exceeded my expectations. I could not fault the care I received from the A&E staff. The A&E receptionist was very friendly and helpful, as were the nurses and a medical student involved in my care. The care I received from the doctor that attended to me today was exceptional. He really made an effort to involve me and explained everything clearly. I took magazines with me, expecting to wait around for ages... I didn't even get chance to read them because I barely had to wait for anything. I also went to radiology for an X-Ray and CT and was satisfied with the care I received from the staff there too.
