"labour ward, delivering my baby boy"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

The hospital was clean and my midwife was lovely she made me feel extremely comfortable and capable of giving birth (which I was doubting :-)) I was asked if a student doctor could view my birth which I agreed to then after my birth and some tea and toast the student doctor came back to thank me for allowing them to be present which I thought was very polite, my midwife came and said goodbye at the end of her shift, I was very happy with the care I received and would definitely return to derby hospital if I am to have any more children, the staff are friendly and accommodating and strive to help where they can.
