"I was not contacted about the referral for almost 2 months"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

My son was referred to the community paediatrician in December. I was not contacted about the referral for almost 2 months. I had to choose the appointment myself. It was not the delay I was objected to, but my worry the referral had been lost.

I would have really appreciated a quick call saying the referral was being processed. The consultant at Woodside Clinic was excellent. Very knowledgeable, listened to what we had to say and explained next steps clearly.
