"No one seemed to keep me updated as to what was going on"

(as the patient),

The ward staff were lovely and I was happy overall with how my pain was managed.

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of information coming my way. No one seemed to keep me updated as to what was going on, and when diagnoses was made I was just given the name of it and no more information at all about it.

It would have been nice to even just have been given a leaflet or something!
