I awoke in January with a pain in my chest when I tried to take a deep breath. It didn’t seem like it was going to leave me, so I caught a bus down to the Princess Royal, went into A&E and the male nurse soon had me in a wheelchair. Before I knew it I was in ward 12c, where I had 2 scans in the period I was there. The doctors and nurses were wonderful. I wrote a letter to the principal officer saying so.
I was discharged on Sunday evening in February. Then was due to see a Mr Fox in March, but my doctor’s surgery rang to say it had been cancelled until they can get me another scan.
