My mother was admitted to A&E at 2am, where she was diagnosed with Pancritis. She was in a very poor state, but was looked after by the doctors & nurses in A&E who showed compassion and skill in her stay in A&E She was then moved to Ward 5 B where she spent 3 weeks, in them 3 weeks at least one of her family where with her 24/7 and saw how hard the doctors and nurses worked. They showed a great empathy and compassion for our mother in the last weeks of her life. I would also like to thank the palliative care team who where fantastic and a rock to us, in our sad time. I can honestly say that everyone we came into contact with at the Royal Hospital was fantastic, and I have nothing but praise for the hard working staff of Ward 5 B. Thank you
"The care of my mother was out standing"
