"Shame to spoil your name because of cleanniness"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

although all other aspects were excellent, when using the male toilets at A+E there was blood on the toilet basin and floor. I immediately reported it to reception who assured me they will get the cleaning staff to deal with it straight away. When returning over an hour later, the toilet was in the exact same state as I had left it. To protect germs and infection spreading it is paramount to ensure these things are dealt with as a matter of Urgency .

We take cleanliness and infection prevention and control very seriously at QE Gateshead, we're sorry that our standards fell below what should be expected on the occasion that you were here. We've passed your comments on to our domestic team, to remind staff about being vigilant, especially when a member of the public has specifically brought something to our attention.
