"Probably saved my life"

About: Hemel Hempstead Hospital

Had severe chest pains indicating a heart attack.Looking for my nearest AE to St Albans stumbled upon The Care Unit at Hemel.Spoke to the receptionist, explained my symptoms, although there were 20+people waiting was being set up with an ECG by the male nurse within 10 minutes,.A heart attack was diagnosed by a doctor,an ambulance called, transferred to Harefield and was being given a coronary angioplasty within 45 minutes of having arrived at Hemel. Cannot praise the service high enough.
