"Gender identity clinic"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Well where do I start My experience of charring cross is just awful Doctors lost my initial referral No one takes ownership Managers change frequently Staff never ever answer the phone One receptionist is transphobic Manager failed to fix issues after promising to sort it out 3 months to write a letter which has resulted in the doctor leaving before I had chance to see him They don't use email or computers. It's like going back in time to the 80's Clinic we'll understaffed Surgeons have no managers I could go on all day Neadless to say my opinion is not good. My advice would defiantly be to go to Leeds or Sheffield instead

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is concerned to read of your experience at Charing Cross. The Gender Identify Clinic is part of the West London Mental Health NHS Trust and not Imperial and it would be important to have more details in order to understand the issues that relate specifically to gender reasignment surgery and the Trust. We are sorry you have had a poor experience and hope that you will contact ouyr PALS service pals@imperial.nhs.uk so your concerns can be investigated appropriately.
