Dreadful attitude of most of the nurses and reception staff - there was a large poster advertising an NHS feedback service and it stated that staff were meant to offer patients feedback forms - when I asked one nurse why no one in a particular outpatients department had offered me a form the reply came 'we don't have time for all that, we are much too busy'. There was no interest in taking part in the NHS feedback program. They were all meant to be wearing name tags and the few that were had them obscured by their labels or placed so difficult to read. The vast majority of the staff had no empathy and were bossy, harsh and brusque in manner. It made my visit to the hospital much more stressful than it needed to be. I encountered one nurse whose manner was kind and it was startling in being the exception to the rule, albeit a very valuable one. In the drop down it does not allow one to enter 'eye dept' out patient a and e so I'm entering it here
