Update posted by Justicedenied (the patient)

I have already made a complaint about the therapist and their publication of my private and personal information which included the names of the people I discussed. In my opinion the response was woefully inadequate and did not address all my concerns. I am now taking this matter further and I am considering referral to the Ombudsman. Sadly, I think this may be the only way for the case to be looked at impartially. I want to try and ensure that serious breaches in confidentiality and data protection and the breaking of trust between a therapist and service user don't happen again. I feel strongly that vulnerable people should be protected and they should be able to expect the highest standard of professionalism from therapists and that is why I will continue to pursue this matter.
