"Cancelled appointment"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / General medicine

(as the patient),

I made an appointment at the City Hospital Nottingham 5 weeks in advance. The day before my appointment I received a letter 'confirming' cancellation of my appointment. I had not been contacted previously. I subsequently received a new appoint date 3 weeks hence. I did not wait. Instead I saw a consultant privately within days.
